Environmental information systems
This section of WISE Marine is composed by two main parts: Country Profiles and Regional Sea Conventions. Country Profiles provides links and information about Member States' marine environment and the activities related to the implementation of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD). It includes details such as the associated MSFD marine regions, the extent of defined marine waters, the number of Marine Reporting Units, and the MSFD Competent Authorities (CAs), notified under Article 7. Regional Cooperation regards established collaborative structures among countries in developing their marine strategies within the same region or sub-region.
